Frequently Asked Questions

What is a session like in the Lightfield unit?
Experiences vary, but a common feature to the experiences is that the client typically feels a sense of peace and revitalization.

How do I get into the Lightfield unit?
After removing shoes and jewelry, the client goes up several steps and then reclines in the Lightfield unit. The unit is then closed and the session begins. Following the Lightfield session, the client walks up the steps of and stands in a complementary technology called Grace for a few minutes.

Is there a charge to go through the Lightfield?
Our foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit charity dedicated to reconnecting humanity with its innate capacities. We rely entirely upon the generosity of our patrons to enable our continuing activity. We greatly appreciate any and all donations to this important mission. Our services are provided to you and all of our clients in the spirit of Unconditional Love. When scheduling online, you will be prompted with a $74 suggested donation. This allows Lightfield to cover its operating costs so that it can continue to bless and serve its clients. If you are unable to pay the prompted amount or would like to pay a different amount, please contact scheduling@lightfieldfoundation.org to schedule your session.  As always, additional donations are graciously accepted in the office (cash, checks, and credit cards) and via PayPal.

Are donations tax-deductible?
Yes! Since we are a 501(c)3 corporation, donations are tax-deductible. We are happy to issue a receipt at the time of donation if you are paying with cash or check. Donations made via PayPal include an electronic receipt.

Do I need an appointment or can I just show up?
Yes, definitely you need an appointment.

It now takes just moments to schedule your next Lightfield and Grace appointments. Please visit our online self-scheduling page to choose what dates and times fit your schedule. You can book sessions up to four months in advance.

Self-scheduling is free and easy and works on phones, tablets and computers. After your book your appointment, you will receive:

  • An initial confirmation e-mail

  • An automatic e-mail reminder 4 days before your appointment

Please be aware that many of appointments now are filled six weeks to two months in advance so immediate booking of sessions may be rare but not impossible as we do sometimes get cancellations.

How long is a session?
A session is an hour long including 30 to 45 minutes in Lightfield and occasionally 5 to 10 minutes on Grace. Many clients travel great distances to get to the office so please be on time as we need to be prompt on starting and finishing. We almost always have back-to-back appointments throughout the day. Thank you for your cooperation!

Is there a waiting room?
There is no separate waiting room where the units are located. We do have chairs and books to read while waiting inside the office. We ask that you arrive on time, entering only three minutes prior to your appointment as a courtesy to the previous client. If more than one person is coming for an appointment, there is a room that can be made available down the street that is generally used for either discussions or group waiting. If you are interested in using this space, ask your operator.

Is there anything I need to do to prepare to come to Lightfield?

You may enjoy watching the videos or listening to the audio interviews that are available on our website prior to coming to Lightfield. You can find them here.

What if I need to cancel?

It happens, we know, but we do require 48 hours advance notice so that we can fill the spot.  Please take a moment to look over our full cancellation policy.

Is there anything else I should know?

Please keep these three things in mind:

  • When you have an appointment made through our self-scheduling system, you will get an automatic e-mail reminder four days ahead of time.

  • We recommend that clients not wear perfumes, cologne or essential oils to sessions. Some clients are sensitive to smells that can linger. We appreciate your cooperation on this.

  • If you are coming with a friend, spouse or family member and will be waiting in the office, you may want to bring a jacket. We keep the room cool for the equipment.

Where do I park when I come to Lightfield?

We have four parking places behind our building. Please park there or along the curb in front. In the winter the streets need to be free of vehicles for snow plowing, so do not park in front of the office - only use the back parking lot during the winter season. You can enter the office three minutes before your appointment time using either the front or back door.
